SIMO PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Protection for a Family Application Designed for Children

IMPORTANT
Simo is committed to protecting children's privacy. This application is designed in compliance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), and Google Play Families Policy requirements.
Simo (the "App", "we", "our") is an AI-powered family assistant application designed to simplify modern families' daily lives. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data of all users (including parents and children) is collected, used, stored, and protected.
Our Target Audience:
Simo is a family application targeting all age groups 5 years and older. We apply special protective measures for data collection from children under 13.

Simo collects the following data to provide services. We never collect sensitive personal data, location data, or device identifiers from children under 13.
3.1 Parent/Adult Account Information

- •Password (stored in encrypted form)
- •Family role (mother, father, guardian)
3.2 Child Profile Information (Entered by Parent)
Child profiles can only be created with parental consent:
- •Child's name or nickname
- •Age range (exact birth date is not stored)
- •Learning preferences and interests
3.3 App Usage Data
- •Calendar and reminder data
- •Family messaging content (encrypted)
- •Shopping lists and tasks
- •Quiz and learning progress data
- •Mood tracking records (as anonymous statistics)
3.4 Technical Data

- •Push notification tokens (for parent devices only)
DATA NOT COLLECTED:
Simo never collects the following from children under 13: Precise location data, Android Advertising ID (AAID), IMEI, phone number, SIM serial number, or any device identifiers.
Collected data is used only for the following purposes:
- Providing family organization and calendar management services
- AI-powered story and content generation
- Providing personalized learning experience
- Facilitating family communication
- Sending reminders and notifications (to parents only)
- Improving app performance and bug fixing
Simo uses the following third-party service providers for service delivery. These providers receive only the minimum data necessary for service provision and do not use children's personal data for marketing or advertising purposes.

Simo never sells or shares children's personal data with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing companies under any circumstances. The app does not contain advertisements.
Under COPPA and GDPR compliance, verifiable parental consent is required before collecting any data from children under 13.
6.1 Parental Consent Process

6.2 Parental Rights
Parents have the following rights:
- View all data collected about their children
- Request correction of child data
- Delete child profile and all associated data
- Object to future data collection
- Refuse data sharing with third parties
- Be informed of material changes to this policy
To exercise these rights, email asisimo@planla.ai or use the in-app Settings > Privacy > My Data Requests section. Requests are responded to within 30 days.
Simo implements industry-standard security measures to protect user data:
- All data is protected with AES-256 encryption
- Communication is encrypted with TLS 1.3 protocol
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt algorithm
- Regular security audits and penetration tests are conducted
- Access controls and authorization systems are implemented
- Data is stored in secure data centers
- Active account data:Retained as long as account is active
- Deleted account data:Permanently deleted within 30 days of deletion request
- Child profile data:Deleted immediately upon parent request
- Backups:Deleted from backups within 90 days after main data deletion
Account Deletion:
Users can delete their accounts and all data via in-app Settings > Account > Delete My Account or by emailing asisimo@planla.ai.
9.1 COPPA (United States)
Simo fully complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Verifiable parental consent is obtained before collecting data from children under 13. Data is never collected from children for targeted advertising purposes.
9.2 GDPR (European Union)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, legitimate interest and explicit consent are used as legal bases for data processing. Data for EU citizens is stored on servers within the EU.
9.3 KVKK (Turkey)
Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, personal data is processed in compliance with the law and rules of good faith, accurately and up-to-date when necessary, for specific, clear and legitimate purposes, and in a limited and measured manner in relation to the purpose for which they are processed.
9.4 Google Play Families Policy
Simo fully complies with Google Play Families Policy requirements. The app does not contain advertisements, does not collect precise location data, and does not transmit device identifiers from children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. For material changes:
- Notification will be sent to your registered email address
- In-app notification will be displayed
- New parental consent will be obtained for changes affecting children's data
- Changes will be announced at least 30 days before taking effect
